What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the possibility of the visitor’s Name, Contact details and if appropriate there Facebook profiles.

An anonymized data is kept at that and where appropriate after approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. We have the right to remove any comments deemed to be hurtful or inappropriate and block the user from having access to the website or Facebook page without warning or notice.

Media

Uploaded images are shared publically and therefore, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) that you wouldn’t want anyone else to see. Visitors to the website and Facebook or Instagram page can download, save and extract any location data from images.

Contact forms/complaints

If for any reason you are not happy or satisfied then get in touch using the contact us page, form or through Facebook and Instagram, we will do our best to resolve the issue and find appropriate compensation where required. We hold the right to withhold information you pass on including name, contact details and where warranted address. This could be given to other companies for the sole purpose of ensuring the problem solved in its entirety.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Information can be used to provide reminders about orders should it be required. Occasionally Emails will be sent out with offers and reminders. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any) or sign in and post through facebook, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username if on the website). Website administrators can also see and edit that information but Facebook users are exempt. administrators can only edit and change the post/s on the Facebook page.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, have left comments, Filled out a contact us form, or Filled out an order form of any kind you can request to receive an exported file or email of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Facebook users can delete their comments at any time but with the knowledge that the post could have been shared or saved by others before the action was taken. we have no responsibility over the data posted by an individual on Facebook. we just monitor it to ensure it follows our saftey guildlines.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments ( website) may be checked through an automated spam detection service. facebook comments will be checked through searches to ensure spam or repeated posts are not occurring.

Refunds/Returns policy

If for whatever reason you are unhappy or unsatisfied with the bought product you can bring it back to us for a full refund, the product must, however, have not had signs of temperament and be in the same or close to the same condition as when it was purchased. It is within the rights of the manager to refuse a full refund if they feel these conditions are not met.

What we do

It is the manager’s job where appropriate and with consent to take full details of the customer who has returned goods, This is necessary if the matter is deemed to need to go further or higher up the chain for further investigation. More details about this are stated above.

Informal decisions

In the rare event that a full refund is not possible or is refused, an informal decision at the discretion of the manager can be reached, this could be in the form of free items, a replacement item or a discount next time something is purchased. these decisions are an agreement between you (the customer) and the manager of that stall/shop.

Allergens

If you are in doubt about any of your allregens or with the ingredients in our products, just ask and we will be happy to clarify any problems or concerns you may have.

Nuts/Traces of nuts

Despite every effort has been made to ensure our products are nut free there is the possibility that as the kitchen is open planned traces of nuts may be present and therefore we at Bagel Box cannot guarantee a nut free environment.

Allergens

All allergen infomation will be available on request with all our products to the best of our knowledge and with the best accuracy we can provide. If you are in any doubt just ask a member of staff and we will be happy to clarrify anything for you.
